| Nature constantly offers me simple pleasures to love. Opening myself up to the beauty around us is a way to bring more happiness and peace into my life. My name is James I. Mangano. I love to surf and I have been surfing since I was 12 years old. I grew up in Southern California and have always been drawn to the water. I live with my beautiful wife and two daughters. My goal is to create a better world for those around me by making the best boards that I can and creating art work that makes them unique and allows them to stand alone outside the main stream. As far back as I can remember, art has always been a major focus for me and that came natural to me. K58 has been my dream since 2003. The name signifies a surf spot 58 kilometers south of the border. I want to glorify God by the works of my hands and the words that I speak and the thoughts that I think .
